Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam - Lyrical Interpretation
Yellow Ledbetter – My Interpretation
On a voice up there, I said
That he said
I wanna leave it again
Once I saw her
On a piece of leather, I said
Oh he said I wanna leave it again
On a wheeler on a wizard on a way, yeah
And he called and I said
That I whoa that I said
That I fall out again
I am the wizard
On a lever combine, oh
I said that I know what I will
I’m gonna buy a soda back, oh yea!
Yea… have you seen it?
Oh no no, of course
Yea but they don’t wait
I’ve seen it, out of my way!
I know what I know
I don’t wanna say
Make me cry
(Instrumental Break)
Ahhh heeeeee
Oh I don’t know something, now
On a combine run away
I said I don’t, I don’t where
There’s a barstool in back
Oh yea, have you seen it?
Oh no no no, hey take him away
I’ve seen it, right in my way
And I know and I know
I don’t wanna say..
I don’t wanna stay…
I don’t wanna stay…
I don’t wanna stay…
I don’t wanna stay…
… I don’t..
Uhhh…. Ohhhh….

1st Annual "Have a good time" Road Trip - Part 1
We got a late start on a muggy, Saturday night. It was Tracy So, Katy Mason, Sarah Thorp and myself in Katy's 70 something Mercedes Benz. We sung into the night and headed East on I80, toward Sacramento from the SF Bay Area.
We made it to Weed, CA around 6:00 Am, set up the tent and napped for a few hours. After about 45 minutes or so of trying to fall asleep with the sun blasting the shit out of the tent, I grabbed my sleeping bag and parked under a shady tree. I woke up two hours later to the sound of park rangers chatting while cleaning up the recycling. I'm sure they thought I was homeless or something. I found Thorp about 60 feet or so away from where I was sleeping and she was literally sleeping in the middle of a dirt road. We all eventually woke up, ate some food and Katy, Thorp and I played around in the park a bit and Tracy snoozed in the tent while someone snagged her board. We were all pretty pissed about that one. It must have been one of those little "crackies" running around. They didn't take anything else...we had a car full of theftables and they took her fucking board. Lame.
We cruised around a bit to try and spot the little fucker that made off with Tracy's board, but he was probably hiding out in his trailer or something. Afterwards...we headed toward Klamath.
